Bus

בקיץ האחרון החלטנו לוותר על לחו"ל, כי לקטנה עוד לא מלאו 3 שנים ונראה לנו קשה מידי...

אז נסענו לחופשה בתל-אביב. גם על מלון ויצרנו, כי אנחנו טבעונים וקשה למצוא מנות טבעוניות במלון.

רצינו את היכולת להכין לעצמנו ארוחות בוקר וערב. גם את זה לא ניתן לעשות במלון.

אז שכרנו דירת נופש על הים, ממש מול חוף גורדון, זה החליף את בריכת המלון :)

אחרי שהחננו את האוטו הגדול שלנו בחנייה הקטנטנה שהייתה שמורה לנו (תוך כדי ששרטנו את האוטו), החלטנו לא להוציא את האוטו, אם לא ממש חייבים ונסענו באוטובוסים.

הקטנה מאוד התרגשה מהעניין...

Last summer we decided to give up travelling overseas, since my little girl was not 3 years old yet and it seemed to hard...

So we went to a vacation in Tel-Aviv. We also gave up the hotel, since we are vegans and it's hard to find vegan meals in hotels. We wanted the ability to make our own breakfast and dinner, that is not possible in hotels.

So we rented a vacation apartment by the sea, just off the coast of Gordon, it replaced the hotel pool :)

After we parked our big car in a tiny Tel-Aviv parking place that was reserved for us (while scratching our car in the process...), we decided to leave the car in the parking place and not take it out if it's not necessary and we was traveling by bus.
My little girl got all excited from the whole thing...

ירד פה המון שלג, גם עכשיו, כשיש כבר שמש, עדיין קפוא בחוץ והשלג עוד לא נמס...

הכביש, גם אחרי שהגיע טרקטור לפלס את השלג, עדיין קפוא ומלא קרח, כך שזה מסוכן לנסוע ואנחנו עדיין "נצורים".

הילדים זכו ביום חופש, כי אין הסעות לבתי הספר מהיישוב היום וכמובן שגם אין גן, כי אי הגננות לא יכולות להגיע.

אז יש לנו עוד שבת בבית.

וזאת גם הסיבה שהתמונות (של הדף) לא באיכות הכי טובה. אין מצב שאני יוצאת לצלם בחוץ בקור הזה!!! וכמובן, שהכל רטוב, אז אין היכן להניח את הדף...

It's been snowing a lot here, and even now, that the sun has shine, it's still freezing outside and the snow has not melted yet...

The road still frozen and full of ice, so it's dangerous to drive and we are still can't get out of the village.

The children enjoyed a day off, because there is no school bus from the village today and of course there is no kinder garden, because the teachers can't come.

So we have another Saturday at home.

That's the reason the pictures (of the page) are not in good quality. There is no way I'm going out to picture in this cold!!! and of-course, everything is wet outside, so there is no place to put the page...

הסקיצה מהבלוג של Blue Fern Studios, אבל בשביל להכנס לאתגר צריך להשתמש בצ'יפבורד שלהם ואין לי...

אתגר הצבעים והנושא, הינו מ-CSI:

The sketch is from Blue Fern Studios bloig, but to enter the challenge I should use their chipboard and I don't have one...

The color and theme challenge are from CSI:

למי שמעוניינת בתהליך העבודה:

דף הרקע היה כהה יותר ודומיננטי. ריככתי אותו עם ג'סו מהול בקצת מים.

השפרצתי קצת מיסטים למיניהם וקצת צבע אקריל לטיפות צבע שמנות יותר.

לא כל כך רואים, אבל הוספתי גם משחת עיצוב עם סטנסיל של רשת. (אפשר לראות בתמונה האחרונה).

את התמונה הדבקתי למסגרת (המסגרת מעל התמונה) ויצרתי מהם מעין כיס, אשר בו הכנסתי את הג'ורנלינג.

את הצ'יפבורד צבעתי בשתי שכבות של ג'סו. עליהן החתמתי ועשיתי הבלטה חמה שקופה.

על זה צבעתי באקריל ירוק. החלקים עם ההבלטה נשארו שקופים וזה יצר קצת עניין.

ליפפתי על הצ'יפבורד חוט אופים, שוב ליצירת טקסטורה ועניין.

For those interested in the work process:

The background page was darker and dominant. I softened it with gesso mixed with a little bit of water.

I used some mists and added Acrylic paint for more thick drops.

It's hard to see, but I added modeling paste with a stencil of chicken wire. (You can see it in the last picture).

I taped the picture to  the frame (frame over the image) and created a pocket, in which I put the journalling.

I painted the chipboard with 2 coats of gesso. I stamped them and hot embossed with transparent powder.

I painted it with green acrylic paint. The parts that was embossed remained clear and it creates some interest.

I wrap the chipboard with baker's twine, again for creating texture and interest.
