Kids in a Box

כמו שכבר כתבתי, הילדים יכולים לקחת כל דבר וליצור איתו עולם דימיוני מלא ומעניין.

במקרה הזה, נותרו כמה קופסאות קרטון של החיתולים של הקטנה (זה היה קצת לפני שהיא נגמלה).

כן, הקרטונים היו צריכים להגיע למיחזור, אבל עד שאני זזה, הם כבר ניכסו אותם...

הילדים אמנם בקופסא, אבל אני דווקא יצאתי מהקופסא ויצא לי דף מאוד שונה (אני חושבת) מהדפים הרגילים שלי. 

As I already wrote, the children can take anything and create an imaginary full and interesting world.
In this case, there remain several cardboard boxes of diapers of my little girl (it was before she outgrew).
Yes, the boxes had to get to recycling, but until I move, the kids appropriated them ...
The children are in a box, but I actually went out of the box and I got a very different page (I think) from my regular pages.

לפעמים כאשר לבן שלי יש התקף זעם והוא לא מסוגל להכיל כלום. אני אומרת לו ללכת לחדר, להוציא את העצבים.

זה נשמע נורא, אבל מסתבר שזה עובד די יפה. אחרי שהוא מפסיק לצעוק ולבעוט, משתרר שקט...

אחרי כמה זמן הוא יוצא וקורא לי: "אמא! תראי!" בדרך כלל אני מוצאת כל מיני מבנים מעניינים שהוא בנה, פעם מכפיסי העץ האלה ופעם מלגו גדול ולפעמים גם מכל מיני דברים שהיו אצלו בחדר, כמו בדים, מזרונים, שרוכים, חגורות. כל דבר.

לבן שלי יש פיצול קשב וריכוז. לא הפרעות! הוא לא מופרע וזה לא מפריע לו. זה אולי מפריע למערכת החינוך...

הוא מסוגל לקלוט הכל, המח שלו עובד במהירויות, שאנחנו לא מדמיינים בכלל. אין אצלו סינון, הכל נכנס. זאת אחת הסיבות להתקפי זעם, חוסר היכולת להכיל את הסביבה. וזאת הסיבה לכך שהוא באמת נרגע כאשר הוא לבד בחדר, בלי הסחות דעת ובלי גירויים חיצוניים. הוא מצליח לאסוף את עצמו ואז מבטא את עצמו בבנייה (אצל כל ילד, אני משערת זה יתבטא באופן שונה, ילד אחד יבנה, ילד אחר יצייר).

Sometimes when my son has a tantrum and he can not contain anything. I tell him to go to his room, to take out the nerves.
It sounds awful, but it turns out that it works quite nicely. After he stops screaming and kicking, there's silence...
After a while he comes out and calls me "Mom! Look!" Usually I find all sorts of interesting buildings he built, one time ut can be these WEBBY'S another time it can be a big Lego blocks and sometimes he builds from things that were in his room, like fabrics, mattresses, laces, belts. Anything.

My son has ADHD. In Hebrew it's Interference, but its Interfere only the education system ...
He is able to absorb it all, his brain working in high speeds, we can't even imagine. He has no filter, everything is going through to his brain. That is one reason for the tantrums, the inability to contain the environment. And that is why he really calming down when he is alone in the room, with no distractions and no external stimuli. He manages to collect himself and then expresses himself in construction (for each child, I guess it will be expressed differently, one child will build things, another will drew).

בקיץ האחרון החלטנו לוותר על לחו"ל, כי לקטנה עוד לא מלאו 3 שנים ונראה לנו קשה מידי...

אז נסענו לחופשה בתל-אביב. גם על מלון ויצרנו, כי אנחנו טבעונים וקשה למצוא מנות טבעוניות במלון.

רצינו את היכולת להכין לעצמנו ארוחות בוקר וערב. גם את זה לא ניתן לעשות במלון.

אז שכרנו דירת נופש על הים, ממש מול חוף גורדון, זה החליף את בריכת המלון :)

אחרי שהחננו את האוטו הגדול שלנו בחנייה הקטנטנה שהייתה שמורה לנו (תוך כדי ששרטנו את האוטו), החלטנו לא להוציא את האוטו, אם לא ממש חייבים ונסענו באוטובוסים.

הקטנה מאוד התרגשה מהעניין...

Last summer we decided to give up travelling overseas, since my little girl was not 3 years old yet and it seemed to hard...

So we went to a vacation in Tel-Aviv. We also gave up the hotel, since we are vegans and it's hard to find vegan meals in hotels. We wanted the ability to make our own breakfast and dinner, that is not possible in hotels.

So we rented a vacation apartment by the sea, just off the coast of Gordon, it replaced the hotel pool :)

After we parked our big car in a tiny Tel-Aviv parking place that was reserved for us (while scratching our car in the process...), we decided to leave the car in the parking place and not take it out if it's not necessary and we was traveling by bus.
My little girl got all excited from the whole thing...

Relaxing

הקיץ הזה, החלטנו שאין לנו כוחות לטוס לחו"ל עם ילדה קטנה שעוד לא מלאו לה 3 (היא הייתה בת שלוש באוקטובר, ואנחנו נפשנו באוגוסט).

אז תכננו לנו טיול רגוע. מאוד. האמת לא ממש טיול. יותר חופשת בטטות...

שכרנו לנו דירת נופש בתל-אביב (היות ואנחנו טבעוניים, מצאנו שזה לא משתלם לקחת מלון, כי לא נאכל שם כלום ולא יהיה לנו היכן להכין ארוחות בוקר וערב).

הדירה היתה צמודה לחוף גורדון, רק לרדת, לעבור את הכביש ואנחנו שם. זה החליף את הבריכה של המלון :)

בתוך תל-אביב, העדפנו שלא לנסוע ברכב מטעמי חנייה ברורים ונסענו באוטובוסים. היות ולא יוצא לנו לנסוע באוטובוס בכלל (למעט ההסעה לבית הספר, אבל זה שונה), הילדים מאוד התלהבו מהעניין.
באחת הפעמים (הלא מעטות בכלל) שנחנו בדירה בסטלבט, צילמנו את הקטנה במיטה, משחקת בטאבלט.

אני רוצה להכניס את העבודה לאתגר "הכל הולך" ביוצאות מהקווים.

התמונה מודבקת על סיפרון קטן, המכיל 4 תמונות מאותה סיטואציה.

אני אוהבת לעצב את הדפים שלי עם מעט תמונות, בד"כ מעדיפה תמונה אחת.

בצורה הזאת, שאני יוצרת סיפרון קטן, אני מרוויחה כמה תמונות בדף אחד, אבל מבחינה עיצובית, זה כמו תמונה אחת.

דבר נוסף שקשה לי לשלב בדף, זה הג'ורנלינג.

בצורה של סיפרון, אפשר לכתוב את הג'ורנלינג בפנים, והוא לא מפריע לי בעיניים.

את הדפים של הסיפרון, החתמתי בחותמת עלים ועשיתי אמבוסינג שקוף.

על זה עברתי עם דיו דיסטרס, כל דף בצבע אחר, לפי צבעי האתגר.

The photo adhered to a small booklet containing 4 images of the same situation.

I like to design my pages with few pictures, usually I prefer a single picture.

This way, when I make a small booklet, I can earn few photos on one page, but in terms of design, it's like one picture.

Another thing, I find it difficult for me to combine the journalling.

In the form of booklet, I can write the journalling inside and it doesn't bother me.

I stamped the pages of the booklet with leaves stamp and ambosed it with transparent powder.

Above it I colored with Distress ink, each page with a different color from the challenge.
