A day in life - LO

טוב, בסדר, הנה אני מודה:

שמי איילת ואני מכורה למסיכות, שבלונות וסטנסילים!

יחד איתם הגיעה חברות אמיצה עם דיו וצבעי אקריליק וכמובן משחת העיצוב (שנראה לי שגם התמכרתי לריח שלה...).

ושומו שמיים, אני אפילו מלכלכת את האצבעות!!!

OK, I admit:

My name is Ayelet and I'm addicted to stencils!

Along with them came a brave friendship with inks and acrylic paints and of course molding paste (I think I became addicted to it's smell, lol...).

And - hold your self - I even get my hands dirty!!!

נשארו לי הרבה תמונות של הקטנה שאין להם משמעות מיוחדת, פשוט תמונות מתוקות שאני לא יכולה לשים באלבום כיסים.

הסקיצה המוצעת יחד עם פלטת הצבעים באתגר של The Color Room הייתה מושלמת בשביל תמונות כאלה.

I got left with a lot of pictures of my little one. Those pictures doesn't have a special meaning, but I can't put them away in a pocket album.

At The color Room there is also a sketch with the palette, but it's not mandatory  This time this sketch was perfect for those pack of photos.

הפרפר הינו מסיכה, גם העיגולים הורודים נוצרו ע"י מסיכה.

The butterfly was made with a stencil, also the pink circles.

האותיות של מסטיקים, צבועות באקריליק.

Those letters also was painted with acrylic.

אפילו חלק מהכפתורים צבועים באקריליק כדי להתאים לפלטת הצבעים...

I even painted some of the buttons with acrylic, so they match to the palette...

The pink mist - I made my self - you won't guess - from acrylic paint!

Naughty Layout

את התמונות האלה אני מאוד אוהבת.
הקטנה נראית פה מתוקה מאוד ויש לה מבט שובבי בעיניים.
היא זוחלת לקראת אבא שלה שמצלם אותה. אין דבר יותר מסקרן מאשר המצלמה והאורות שהיא עושה :)
אני גם אוהבת את משחק האור והצל מהתריס על הריצפה.

I love those pictures. My little one looks so sweet and she has this naughty look in her eyes.

She is crawling towards her dad, that takes her picture. One of the most curious things is a camera with all the lights :)

I also love the light and shadow on the picture from the window.

בפינה הימנית למעלה עשיתי איזה שהוא נסיון.
אתם מכירים את משחקי המגנט בקופסאות המתכת הקטנות?
אחרי שהוצאנו את חיילי המשחק העגולים מהדף (יותר צי'פבורד), נשאר מעין מלבן עם עיגולים חסרים...
הנה תמונה של זה:

At the right corner I made some experiment.

I took a left over from a game, something like a chipboard with holes in it.

Here is a picture of it:

כמובן, שמיד חשבתי לעשות מזה מסיכה (זה היה לפני ההזמנה מענת). הנחתי אותה על הדף הכתום וצבעתי באקריליק ורוד. אממה, הצ'יפבורד נרטב וספג את הצבע והכל נמרח לגמרי, ועיגולים אין :(
בכל זאת לא ויתרתי! אחרי שהדבר הזה התייבש, הנחתי אותו שוב על הדף, והפעם עם מכחול עדין ומעט צבע ציירתי עיגולים באקריליק חום.
התוצאה הסופית נראית קצת שובבה, כמו הקטנה והחלטתי להשאיר את זה ככה.

I tried to paint it with pink acrylic paint. The chipboard absorbed the paint and everything smeared. I got no circles :(

But I didn't give up! After all that thing dried off, I put it on the page again, only this time, I used fine paintbrush and little brown acrylic paint to paint circles.

The outcome is cute, like the little one in the picture and I decided to leave it this way.

החיצים הם גם נסיון עם משהו שאינו מסיכה רגילה.
פעם (לפני שנים רבות...) כשהייתי ילדה קיבלתי ערכת מנדלה מ-ה-מ-מ-ת.

The arrows are also a try with something that is not a standard stencil.

A long time ago, when I was a little girl, I got a "Spiro Art" set. Here is a picture:

הערכה מגיעה עם דפים וטושים ושבלונה עם המון צורות, הנה תמונה של השבלונה:

This set comes with square papers, markers and a thick plastic mask or stencil. A picture:

כפי שאתם רואים מהתמונות, עד היום יש לי את הערכה הזאת בקופסא המקורית. את הדפים כבר גמרתי כשהייתי ילדה, אבל כ"כ אהבתי את זה, שחשבתי שאחתוך דפים עבור זה ואמשיך לצייר. כך נשמרה הערכה :)

As you can see in the pictures, I still have the original box. I ran out of papers back then already. But I loved it so much, that I thought I will cut papers for this. I didn't, but the box still here :)

זה נהדר לשחק בחומרים וחפצים שאינם קשורים לסקראפ, אפילו אם זה לא יוצא בדיוק כפי שתיכננתי (ואולי דווקא בגלל זה...)

It's great playing with material and stuff that doesn't come from the scrapbooking stores, even if it doesn't come out the way I planed it (or maybe because of that...)

Me layout

על השולחן שלי ישבה תמונה שלי, שרציתי לעצב לה דף כבר די הרבה זמן, למרות שיש לי פרצוף מבואס משהו בתמונה, החלטתי, בעיקבות האתגר של אש קטנה, בכל זאת להכניס את התמונה הזאת גם. בתקווה שיהיו לי תמונות יותר מוצלחות בעתיד :)

On my desk I had a picture of me for a long time. Now I decided to use it at last :)

הדף נכנס לאתגר המשולב של CSI ו-Once Upon A Sketch:

I want to enter this layout to the combined challenge of CSI and Once Upon A Sketch:

חייבת לציין שהאתגר היה לי לא פשוט הפעם, בייחוד הצבעים.

לא מצאתי שום דף או קארדסטוק מדוגמים בצבעים של האתגר.

אבל מצאתי דפים חלקים.

בנוסף, בדיוק הגיעו הסטנסילים (מסיכות) שהזמנתי מהחנות החדשה של ענת - Mrs. G.

החלטתי לעצב את הדף ולשחק קצת.

I've got to admit, that this color palette was a little bit difficult for me. I didn't find any decorative paper or cardstock but only blanks, so I decided to decorate and play with the papers myself :)

I managed to use all the 5 colors.

I rotated the sketch and moved one side of embellishments from the sketch to the other side of my page (hope I'm making scene...)

From the evidence I used:

Branches, Birds, Flowers, Border, Dog accent and Misting.

For the testimony I used:

Documents about a pet, Document something daily, Use a border.

התחלתי במסיכת הלבנים בפינה.
הנחתי אותה ומרחתי לכה שקופה. הורדתי וחיכיתי שיתייבש.
אח"כ עברתי עם דיו פיגמנטי שצבע בין הלבנים.
לבסוף הנחתי שוב את המסיכה ועברתי עם דיו Archival שצבע את הלבנים עצמם (עם הלכה).

The bricks, the hexagon and the butterfly are all stencils that used in different techniques.

אח"כ עברתי למסיכה של רשת לול ובאופן פשוט עם דיו פיגמנטי הוספתי אקראית (בערך) את המשושים המתוקים על הדף.

הפרפר הירוק, גם הוא מסיכה, ופה השתמשתי עם צבע אקרליק.

חתכתי עם סכין מסביב לפרפר על מנת להכניס את דפי המאטינג מתחתיו.

This green butterfly is also a stencil that painted with acrylic paint.

I cut around one side of the butterfly in order to insert the matting underneath.

הכלב הוא תבנית חיתוך מתוקה. אני אוהבת כלבים מושבעת והייתי חייבת את הסט המקסים הזה (שכולל בנוסף לכלב גם מלונה, קערה ועצם, וכף רגל).

The dog is a sweet die cut. I love dogs and I had to buy this set (which includes in addition to this dog, also a dog house, a dog bowl, a bone and a paw).

הציפור היא צ'יפבורד שצבעתי באקריליק חום שוקולד.
הענף שהיא יושבת עליו הוא פשוט ענף שציירתי לבד וגזרתי.

The bird is a chipboard I painted with brown acrylic paint,

The branch - I drew myself on a cardstock and cut.

למרות הקושי באתגר ולמרות שאני לא בטוחה שאני מאוד אוהבת את הדף, היה לי ממש כיף בסופו של דבר לשחק עם חומרים ולנסות דברים שעוד לא עשיתי :)

In spite the difficulty, at the end I had a lot of fan playing and trying new materials.

Common Tea layout

הילדים שלי מאוד אוהבים לשתות תה, בעצם לא בדיוק תה, אלא חליטת צמחים בריאה וטעימה.
הם אוהבים לבחור את העלים לתה ישר מהגינה ולקטוף לעצמם ואני מכינה להם תה.
כמובן שגם הקטנה שלי אוהבת, והיא הולכת עם הבנים לקטוף עלים ואני מכינה גם לה :)

כשאנחנו נוסעים לסבא וסבתא (ההורים שלי), סבתא תמיד מפנקת אותם בחליטת צמחים!
באותו שבת שבה צולמה התמונה (כמובן שהאיש שלי צילם...) התה של הבנים היה מוכן, אבל התה של הקטנה עוד היה חם מידי.
היא לא ויתרה ורצתה גם, כך שהגדול שלי שיתף אותה בתה שלו.
אחת מההנאות הגדולות מהילדים, זה לראות אותם יחד משתפים פעולה בהרמוניה - נחת!

My kids love to drink tea. Not tea bags, but healthy, tasty herbal tea.

They love to go out to the garden and pick their favorite leaves, then I make the tea for them.

Of-course my little one love herbal tea too and she goes with the boys to pick leaves and make her tea as well.

When we go to grandma and grandpa (my parents), grandma always makes them herbal tea!

At that Saturday, when the picture was taken, the boys was drinking tea while the tea for the little one was cooling off.

She didn't give up and wanted tea like her brothers, so my eldest joined her to his cup.

One of the great pleasure from the kids is seeing them together cooperate in harmony - complacence!

הסלסולים הלבנים, זה משחת עיצוב עם מסיכה מקסימה, שקניתי אצל לימור מקסם שימושי.
בשביל לכתוב את הג'ורנלינג, צבעתי עם קצת אקריליק לבן ומרחתי בעזרת מגבון, בהשראתה של אש קטנה.

The white swirls are molding paste with great stencil from Kesem Art.

For the journaling, I colored the paper with some white acrylic paint and wiped it with baby wipe.

I was inspired by Little Fire.

הכפתורים בצבע טורקיז כהה עם הפרח הירוק הם מפימו. קניתי אותם מאורלי רבינוביץ שגרה ביישוב שלי, היא עושה המון כלים מצופים בפימו - מ-ד-ה-י-ם ! (ולא, אין לי שום הטבות או אחוזים).

The teal buttons with the green flower on them, are polymer clay (Fimo). It's hand made, but not by me.

Wonderful World layout

המיטה של הקטנטונת ממוקמת בהמשך למיטה הגדולה שלנו, זה מאוד נח :)
כך יוצא שיש חלון בדיוק מעל המיטה שלה, זה פחות טוב :(
מבחינתה זה מצויין! היא אוהבת לעמוד במיטה שלה ולהסתכל החוצה על הנוף (עצים, שיחים, פרחים - טבע).
כמובן שהאיש שלי הצליח להנציח את האהבה הזאת שלה.

דרך אגב, אני חייבת לציין שאת רוב התמונות של הילדים בעבודות שלי מצלם האיש שלי.
הוא האמן מאחרי המצלמה, אני האמנית מאחרי העיצוב של הדף :)

The bad of my little girl is placed just next to our double bad, it's very convenient :)

But this way she has a window right above her bad, that's not so good :(

As far as she concerned it's GREAT! She loves to stand on her bad and look outside at the view (trees, flowers - nature).

Of-course my husband managed to capture this love of hers.

By the way, I have to say that most of the kids pictures in my layouts - my husband took.

He is the artist behind the camera and I'm the artist behind the layout designs :)

אז מה יש לנו פה?
שלושת הדויילי, הן חותמת. הדיו התכלת הוא דיו פיגמנטי בגוון פנינה מבריק.
פלטת הצבעים המאוד סכרתית, התאימה לתמונה הזאת כמו כפפה :)
הכותרת היא השיר: "And I think to myself what a wonderful world" שנראה שזה מה שעובר בראשה של הקטנטונת, לפחות יש לקוות...
תפרתי מסגרת לדף - תפר אמיתי, אבל לא במכונה. עברתי עם גלגלת שמחוררת ותפרתי ידנית. זה המון עבודה וזה היה מעצבן! אוף, אני רוצה מכונת תפירה אמיתית!
אבל התוצאה שווה את זה, הרבה יותר יפה תפרים אמיתיים מאשר שירבוט של תפרים בעט.
זה גם מוסיף קצת מרקם שנראה לי שהיה חסר בדף הזה.

So what do we have here?

The doilies are a stamp. The blue ink is pigment ink with pearl shine.

This "high sugar" palette was perfect for this picture :)

The title is the song: "And I think to myself what a wonderful world" and it seems that what the little one thinks, at leased I hope so...

I saw a frame to the layout - it's a real stitching, but not on a sawing machine. I used "saw easy", that makes the holes and I saw it by hand. It's a lot of work and it's really annoying! I want a real sawing machine!

But the result worth it, it's much more pretty with a real stitching then a doodling.

The stitches also add some texture to the layout and I think it needed it.
